We provide the following:
Training: A core capability of USP-Ghana is training of pharmaceutical professionals in areas such as Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality Control, Quality Management Systems and Quality Assurance in the Supply Chain of Medicines. Since inception, USP-Ghana has trained more than from 1,300 regulatory and manufacturing professionals.
Pharmaceutical Product Testing: USP Ghana performs all compendia tests that require the use of spectrometers but does not currently perform microbial tests.
Technical Assistance: Leaders within National Quality Control Laboratories (NQCLs) engage USP Ghana to assess the gaps in their equipment, quality control processes, and staff skills that prevent them from obtaining accreditation and/or WHO prequalification.
